Senior Business Analyst - Colleague®

Full time (Employee or Contract)                                                       LOCATION: Remote

Business Analysts with our Consulting Service Team provide top-tier consulting, full system integration services and long-term application support to post-secondary institutions in Canada and the United States.  

Accountability

  • Work with clients to assess and document business needs, model processes and information, conduct research, and evaluate for improvements

  • Ensure career and performance plans are reviewed and updated on schedule

  • Achieve target utilization as negotiated with the team lead

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to assess and document business needs; model processes and information; conduct research and evaluate for improvements

  • Advocate for clients to ensure that their requirements and objectives are being met while balancing OA Solutions’ project interests

  • Work with technical team to design high level solutions

  • Plan and coordinate solution delivery, implementation, and change management

  • Ensure project deliverables meet standards of quality defined for project, client, and QA

  • Support project management with containing client expectations within scope and budget

  • Produce project deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget as assigned

  • Provide supervision, guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate team members

Qualifications

  • University degree in related field (or related work experience)

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in business analysis projects which delivered processes from analysis to implementation of Colleague® business solutions (experience in other Learning Institutions' ERPs considered)

  • Proven experience in developing and managing client relationships

  • Proven experience with all stages of business system implementation and with system development lifecycles

  • Proven experience with facilitating and presenting to stakeholder groups

  • Proven analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent technical writing and communications skills

  • Proven experience with business process modelling and data modelling methods and tools

 

Compensation

  • Salary starts at $85,000 and is commensurate with your experience and qualifications

  • In addition, we offer a generous compensation package, including annual bonus system and enrollment in the company's health and dental plan
