OA Solutions Welcomes Jerald Obotta

VICTORIA, BC - 20 February 2025 - OA Solutions is proud to announce that Jerald Obotta will soon be joining the Technical Services team in support of the company’s Ellucian ERP clients across Canada and the United States.

 

Prior to joining OA Solutions, Jerald held the position of Senior Colleague Consultant, assisting Colleges and Universities with their Managed Cloud and SaaS migrations.

“We are excited to welcome Jerald to our Technical Services Team”, said Michael Bucholtz, VP Technical Services at OA Solutions. “Jerald’s experience and skill sets are a great fit for our team. We are confident his expertise will greatly increase our resourcing capabilities.”

With over 10 years of experience supporting the Ellucian Colleague ERP, Jerald has:

  • Created automated data transfers from SIS to third party software solutions using Ellucian Data Connect and Ethos APIs.

  • Participated in de-customization of Colleague processes and change of business processes to match with delivered out of the box Colleague processes.

  • Created and customized Ellucian Experience cards using Colleague SDK

  • Implemented new Ellucian platforms like Ethos, Self-Service, and Ellucian Experience

  • Involved in facilitating business process review and application prototyping sessions.

 

Jerald holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, with a concentration in Data Management; and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

 

A welcome addition to the OA team, Jerald is keen to share his knowledge and assist in the development and expansion of the company’s Technical Services Practice. With extensive experience in the post-secondary industry, combined with his expertise in all technical aspects of the Ellucian Colleague ERP, our clients can be assured that they now have another valuable resource to access from OA Solutions.
