As Manager of Information Systems at Trent University for over a decade, Paul became well versed in the operation and administration of the institution's Ellucian® Colleague® ERP that included Core Student, Finance, Student Billing, Degree Audit, Financial Aid, WebAdvisor and Self Service. Under Pauls' guidance, the Information Systems team at Trent developed custom solutions and applications using Colleague Studio and the Envision toolkit; as well as creating numerous automated data extracts for importing and interfacing to third party applications.  ​

 

Paul also has extensive experience on the systems side of our business, including:

• Strong knowledge of Colleague® Unidata Database, data structure tables and savelists 

• Completing file purges, monitored Garbage Collection, ran WUFA and resized files

• Updating user permissions, security and user access using SCD and SMD

• Extracting data to MSSQL using Data Orchestrator

• Reviewing Ellucian® updates and completed patching using MSUG

 

Paul has a Batchelor's degree in Computer Science from York University and a Business Administration Diploma, Information Systems Option, from Fleming College.

 

A welcome addition to the OA team, Paul is keen to share his knowledge and contribute to the overall growth of our business. With extensive experience in the post-secondary industry, Paul is very familiar with the Canadian post-secondary landscape.
